Cynthia and Doreen take new shelves to Shramik school
Five new libraries were created and the total number of libraries that have received books has risen to twenty two. The combined involvement of Krishna Gopal Shrestha and Dipesh Joshi (Headmaster of Navodaya School, Hetauda) has insured monitoring of these new school libraries throughout the school year. A timetable of visits has been set up and reports are to be given to the DEO office, Hetauda and sent to Doreen by email.
Visiting the newly established libraries was a joy to see them being so well used. We had the help this year of an American friend Cynthia Lilleston who had gathered funds for us through “crowd-funding” and came to help with the distribution of books and the furnishing of libraries. This on-the-spot help was invaluable
